The Ink Drinker by Eric Sanvoisin is an interesting story about a boy who has to spend his summer vacation in his fathers bookstore. But he doesn’t like to read! To amuse himself, he spies on customers. One day he follows a strange customer out of the bookstore and into a cemetery. ”There he discovers that this customer is actually a vampire but one that doesn’t drink blood.

The Minpins by Roald Dahl tells a story about a young child named Billy as he ventures deep into the woods where creatures roam in usual places. He has to face the Gruncher and kill it before it is safe to go on the forest floor! If the story had a moral it would be: You can sometimes face what is more powerful than you with help from your friends. My favorite part was when a swan was able to help Billy kill the Gruncher.
